Shannon and Twyla Owen are parents to a baby boy, Cory Andrew Owen. Cory was born May 14, 2003 at Morris County Hospital, Council Grove. He weighed seven pounds, eight ounces and was 20 inches long.

Cory has two siblings: Chantel, 3 1/2; and Chase 1 ½ Grandparents are: Sharon Oversen, Cottonwood Falls; Kathy Hendrix, Bazaar, Eddie Owen, Dimmitt, Texas; and Erwin and LeAnn Eberle, Emporia. Great-grandparents are: Ralph and Dorathy Gordon, Franklin, NC; Virginia Owen, Dimmitt, Texas; and Shorty Hendrix, Prue, Okla
