Joe and Melody Sigel of rural Cottonwood Falls are the parents of a baby boy, Arlen Edward, born July 25, 2001. Arlen weighed seven pounds, two and one half ounces and was 20 inches long. He has an older sister, Conner, 2 1/2 years old.

Paternal grandparents are Eric and Diana Sigel of rural Cottonwood Falls, Maternal grandparents are Mary Steele of Cottonwood Falls and the late James Steele. Patenal great-grandparents are Faye Sigel of Cottonwood Falls, the late Floyd Fisher, and Carter Sigel of Texas. Maternal great - grandmother is Bessie Steele of Cottonwood Falls.
