Thornton, Abigail Elizabeth

Elizabeth and Gilbert Thornton, of Emporia, are the proud parents of a daughter, Abigail Elizabeth Thornton, born Jan. 9, 2003, at Newman Regional Health, Emporia. Elizabeth weighed eight pounds, four ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Elizabeth has a big brother, Caleb Knuth Thornton.

Grandparents are Wayne and Shirley Knuth and Bryant and Alice Thornton all of Emporia. Great-grandparents are Mary Gann, Council Grove; Edna Knuth, Emporia; and Esther Hernandez, Emporia.
