Addy, Ruth Marie Bixler Ruth Marie Addy, 81, of
Spencer, Ind., died Dec. 12,
2003, at The Residence at
McCormicks Creek in
Spencer, Ind.
Ruth Marie Bixler, the
daughter of Ralph and Nela Mae Parrish Bixier, was born Jan 29, 1922, in Owen County. She married Floyd Addy. She was a member of the Nazarene Church and a homemaker.
Ruth is survived by three daughters, Rosalee
Johnson and Debra
Townsend both of Spencer, Ind. and Wanda Haviland, Coal City, Ind.; two sisters,
Pauline Weaver, Cottonwood Falls and Kathryn Simmerman,
Greencastle, Ind.; three half-brothers, Joe Bixler, Lafayette, Ind., Raymond Bixler, Indiana and Arthur Snyder, Brazil, Ind.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-
Grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, in 1991; two brothers; and two sisters.
The funeral was Dec. 17 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer, Ind. with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Ind.
