Aguilar, Delores "Lola"

The Mass of Christian Burial for Delores "Lola" Aguilar, 90, of Emporia was Jan. 10, 2003, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Dan Gardner celebrated the service. Burial was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Hand in Hand Hospice or the church can be sent to the Roberts-Blue- Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801

Mrs. Aguilar who died Jan. 5, 2003, at her home, was a housekeeper at Emporia State University for 10 years before she retired in 1976.

Delores Rodriguez, the daughter of Masedonio and Bernarda Elias Rodriguez, was born May 11, 1912, at Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. She mar ried Carmen Aguilar on May 9, 1942, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia. Mrs. Aguilar was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her hus band; three daughters, Anita J. Munoz and Theresa A. McGuire, both of Emporia and Juanita A. Moore of Strong City. A brother, A.J. Rodriguez; and four sisters, Luce Gaspar, Juana Tabares, Lupe Garcia and Mary Guiterrez, died earli er.
