Glenetta R. Backlund, 75, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cottonwood Falls.
She is the mother of Mollie Wold, Elmdale.
Services are pending in Pipestone, Minn.

Glenetta R. Backlund, 75, formerly of Pipestone, Minn., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cottonwood Falls. Services are, pending in Pipestone,
Minn.
Glenetta Ruth Bly, the
daughter of George Michele
and Henrietta Saboe Bly, was born June 1, 1929, in Tyler, Minn. She grew up on a farm near Ruthton, Minn., with her parents
and three sisters.
She taught school in Minnesota. She and Gilbert Backlund were married in 1951. He died in 2000.
She moved to Cottonwood Falls in May 2003, so she could be near her daughter and family, Mollie and Ken Wold of Elmdale.
She is also survived by three sons, Gib Backlund of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Paul Backlund of Clanacy, Mont. and Fred Backlund of Pipestone, Minn.
A son, Frank Backlund, preceded her in death.
