Barker, Mary Anner

DEATH OF MRS. J. W. BARKER

The death of Mrs. J. W Barker, one of the best known women of the Burns and Wonsevu vicinities, occurred Monday afternoon, Dec. 11, at the Barker home. Following is the obituary read at her funeral: Mary Anner Graham, daughter of Harvey and Emeline Graham, was born November 29, 1862, in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She departed this life .December 11, 1939, at the age of 77 years and 12 days.

In early childhood she with her parents moved to Sannemin, Ill. She was a member of the Methodist church having joined that fellowship in early womanhood.

In 1883 she was united in marriage with Joseph Wesley Barker at Sannemin, Ill. They moved to the Burns community in 1886, To this union were born six children, a daughter who died in infancy and a son, Ira, who proceeded her in death, three sons: Earl, Wesley and Lee and one daughter, Mrs, Myrle B. Gibbs.

She leaves her husband, J. W Barker of Burns; and three sons, Earl and Lee, Burns, and Wesley, of El Dorado; one daughter, Mrs, Myrle B. Gibbs, of Tulsa, Okla.
