Baumgardner, Alvin Roy Former Resident Passes in Eureka
Funeral services for Alvin Roy
Baumgardner, 79, of Eureka, a
former resident of Chase County,
who died M o n d a y, Dec. 7, in
Greemvood County Hospital, were
hold at 2 p.m. last. Thursday in
Eureka with burial in Greenwood
Cemetery there.
The son of George L. and Eliza
Baumgardner, he was born Oct,
10, 1891, in Gridley. He had
lived in Eureka since 1944, and
was a retired mechanic for Phillip
Petroleum Company. He was
married, to the former Sylvia L.
Milner Dec. 21, 1923, in Madison.
Survivors include his wife, of the
home; one son, six daughters, one
brother, three sisters, and tvvo
nephews in this area, Gene and
Glenn Baumgardner.
