Beach, B F

B F Beach has been a resident of Kansas for forty years died suddenly at his home in Strong City Monday. He has been a farmer and stock-raiser many yeas.

Besides his wife he is survived by four children who are William and Irv Beach of this place, and Mrs. A. C. Franz of Strong City and Mrs. William Duckett, of Lansing. Mr. Beach's death was caused by heart failure and he has been in failing health for several years.

The funeral was held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the family home in Strong City. Rev. Pearson, pastor of the Congregational Church In Topeka, who is an old time friends of Mr. Beach, will preach the sermon and burial will be made in Prairie Grove Cemetery, west of this city. All of Mr, and Mrs. Beach's children will be present for the funeral.

Mr. Beach was born in Ohio in 1841. He was married to Miss Harriet Scofield in 1862 and together with his wife and family moved to Lawrence, Kansas in i870: ln 1884, they came to Chase County where Mr. Beach, engaged in farming. Several years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Beach moved to Cottonwood Falls and later to Strong City.

Mr. Beach's death will be mourned by a large number of friends and acquaintances and will be sadly missed by his wife and children who have the heart felt sympathy of all.
