Becker, Paula Triemer Maybell

Mrs. Paula Becker, 88, of Kailua, Hawaii, died Oct. 8, 2006, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She grew up in Strong City and graduated from the schools there. She married Charles Maybell. They lived in Portland, Ore., after World War II. Her son died in 1956.

She and Charles moved to Kailua, Hawaii, where Charles worked for the U.S. Government. Charles died on Oct. 27, 1998. She married Bill Becker, formerly of Strong City. He survives.

She was an active member of the Lutheran Church in Kailua, Hawaii. She was also an avid golfer.

She is survived by a son, John Maybell of Portland, Ore.; a granddaughter, Eden Stright of Alexandria, Va.; two great-granddaughters; and nieces, Sue Roada and Frieda Crawford.

She has been cremated and will be interred at a later date in the Strong City Cemetery.
