Beedle, Emma R Mead

Death Comes To Mrs. B. R. Beedle

Emma R. Beedle passed away at the Bell Memorial hospital following an operation after an illness of' several months, being 81 years, 4 months and 27 days old., Mrs. Beedle broke her arm in the spring and had been in failing health since that time.

Mrs. Beedle was the daughter of Lewis and Esther Mead and was born February 18, 1856 at Fairbanks, Iowa.

She was married to E R. Beedle December 21, 1875 in South Elgin, Ill. They moved to Kansas in 1881 and to Chase, County in 1882 where she has. since resided. Her husband preceded her in death May 1928.

She leaves to mourn her passing four sons and two daughters, Guy of Miami, Arizona; Carl of Matfield Green; Reuben of Priest River, Idaho; Roy C. of Bazaar; Mable Johnson of Cambridge, Kansas; and Edna Sauble, of Springer, New Mexico. She also leaves two sisters, Hattie Schuyler of Claypool, Arizona, and Lueva Teft of Idaho and one brother, Sylvaster Mead of this city.

She was formerly a member of the Methodist Church but for the past 18 years has been a member of the Christian Science Church, being a, member of the local Society and also of the Mother Church in Boston. In the passing of Mrs. Beedle the community lost a member of a respected family, a good neighbor, and faithful friend and brings deep regret to a wide circle of friends.
