Beer, Georgia Ellen Foulk
Georgia E. Beer, 60, formerly of Cottonwood Falls, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital, in Kansas City, Mo.
Georgia Ellen Foulk, the daughter of John Harold and Ruby Opal McCulley Foulk, was born July 18, 1945, at Illmo, Mo. She married Bob Beer, Sr. on Aug. 18, 1963, at Lyndon. He died Nov 26, 1994.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cottonwood Falls. She
worked as a nurses aide until her health forced her to retire in 1992.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Lee Beer Jr. of Ottawa and Ronald Ray Beer of Statesville, N.C.; a brother, Robert Henry Jamison of Ottawa; three sisters, Shirley Ferris of Pomona, Mary Houston and Brenda Jamison both of Ottawa; and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Beer; and two brothers, Richard and Monroe Foulk.
A graveside service was held Friday, Jan. 27, at the Lebo Cemetery, Lebo, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating.
