Bell Mrs Frank,

Death Of Mrs Frank Bell.

Mrs. Frank Bell died at her home east of this town at 6:00 o'clock Monday morning. Her death was caused by an abscess in the head, the result of a cold contracted only a few days previous. Up until Wednesday of last week Mrs Bell was in her usual state of health. On that day, however, she felt slightly ill but believed she had only a slight attack of legrippe. Her condition continued to grow worse until the malady took the form of an abscess in her head.

All that could be done for her by her physicians was promptly performed, but without avail. Dr Foncannon of Emporia, Dr. Hinden of Strong City and Dr. Johnson of this city were all in attendance and Miss Babcock, a trained nurse of Kansas City was here to assist.

The unexpectedness of Mrs. Bell's death makes it all the harder for the bereaved husband the two little children and the relatives and friends to bear. Only one short week ago she was a happy wife and a loving mother. In that short week she has been called away from her earthly home and for the time being will be separated from husband and children and friends. She was bidden come to that great and glorious home --Heaven--where peace and joy will be her's forever and where yet but a little while and she can meet the loved ones who are now sorrowing over her departure.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Bell leaves two children, Clifford, aged six and Lors age four; her mother Mrs. Sarah Stout; four brothers, Everett and Jack Stout, east of town, Walter Stout of California and Weldon Stout of Texas.

The funeral of Mrs. Bell was held at the family home at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon, (Tuesday) after which interment was made in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Rev O. C.Bronston preached the sermon. Mrs. Bell's brother in Texas and California were unable to be here for the funeral on account of sickness in their own families. Mrs. Ana Bell of Bucyrus, Ohio) was. also unable to come.
