Biggam, Dave Jr

The many friends and acquaintances of Dave Biggam, Jr. learned of his death at the Biggam home in Strong City at 5:00 Thursday morning, May 15.

Mr. Biggam was the son of the late Dave Biggam and wife, was about 50 years of age and for a number of years had made his home at Garnett, Kansas, where he was a contractor and builder.

Several weeks ago when his mother, Mrs. Mary Biggam became critically ill at her home in Strong City, he and his family were called here and they have been here since her death about three weeks ago. For several years he has been affected with cancer and this was the cause of his death.

The funeral was held at the Biggam home in Strong City Saturday afternoon after which interment was made in Strong City Cemetery beside the graves of his mother and father.

Beside many friends, he leaves to mourn his death, a wife and a daughter and a son, who are 8 and 11 years of age respectively. As Mr. Biggam was raised in Strong City and lived there for many years, he is well and favorably known to many.
