Blankenship, Heather Rose

Heather Rose Blankenship, 12, of Topeka died after a long illness at Midland Hospice House on July 30, 2006.

Heather, the daughter of Flint and Rose Mary Blankenship, was born Jan. 28, 1994.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Tylar; grandfather, Bill McMurphy, Sabetha; grandmothers, Elaine Norris of Topeka and Nancy Boswell of Lawrence; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Holy Name Catholic Church, where she was a member. Cremation followed. Memorials are suggested to Stormont-Vail Pediatrics Dept., TARC or Midland Hospice and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
