Brent, Robert E
Robert E Brent, 93, of San Gabriel, Calif., formerly of Wichita, died June 02, 2002 at Broadway Nursing Center in San Gabriel. Graveside funeral services were conducted Jun 05, 2002 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls. Mr. L Jerome McGill officiated. Military Honors were presented by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
Robert Edward Brent was born on Aug 07, 1908, in Illinois to Edward E and Margaret Johnson Brent. He married Elsie McGill on Jan. 4, 1944 in Wichita. She died earlier. Mr. Brent was a retired Experimental Flight Mechanic for Boeing Aircraft. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by step children, L Jerome McGill of Glendale, Calif. and Warren S. McGill of El Cerrito, Calif. He also leaves eight grandchildren.
