Bullock, Mable H Hill

Mable H. Bullock, 92, of Strong City died Aug. 14, 2003, at her son's home in Leon. Mrs. Bullock, a homemaker, was a 55-year resident of Strong City.

Mabel H. Hill, the daughter of Ernest and Susie Clark Hill, was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Emporia. She married Alfred L. Bullock on June 4, 1935, in Emporia. He died Jan. 17, 1998.

Mrs. Bullock is survived by a son, Albert E. Bullock of Leon; a sister, Opal Haley of Stevensville, Mont.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand child. Two sisters died earlier.

The funeral was Aug. 18 in the Croy Funeral Home at Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. John Hastings conducted the service. Burial was in Strong City Cemetery.
