Campbell, Lila B

The funeral for Lila B. Campbell, 98, of Cottonwood Falls was May 17, 2002, in the United Methodist Church at Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. James Patterson conducted the service. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery at Cottonwood Falls. Memorial contributions to Hand in Hand Hospice can be sent to the Croy Funeral Home, 27 Maple St., Cottonwood Falls, Ks 66845.

Mrs. Campbell died May 14, 2002 at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was employed in the food service business and was a cook at the Chase County High School.

Lila B. LeMay, the daughter of John and Della Bennett LeMay, was born Oct 21 1903 at Wilsey. She married Jack L Z Campbell on Feb 14, 1923, at Cottonwood Falls. He died July 25, 1975.

Mrs Campbell was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Falls Chapter at Cottonwood Falls. She is survived by a son, Robert L. Campbell of Cottonwood Falls; a daughter, Barbara Alexander of Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Nine brothers and five sisters died earlier.
