Carmens, Mrs Frank

MRS FRANK CARMENS DEAD

Mrs. Frank Carmens (colored) died suddenly at her home in Strong City last Tuesday morning. March 3rd. She had been ill but a short time. The funeral will be held this Friday afternoon in the Second Baptist Church in Strong City after which interment will be made in Prairie Grove cemetery west of the city.

Mrs. Carmens was about 60 years of age and had resided in Strong City for many years. She is survived by one daughter and two sons, who are Blanche, Lee and Nonnie. She also leaves other relatives. Mrs. Frank Taylor of Emporia, ia a niece. From Emporia Mr and Mrs Frank Taylor and family; Mr and Mrs John Blackwell, and Mrs Sadie Carmens and family, expect to be here today for the funeral.

She died at her home Tuesday morning, March 3rd. She was 65 years old. Mrs. Carmons was sick only a few minutes, death resulting before medical aid could reach her. She had been in apparent good health recently and had been down town the evening before her death. Mrs. Carmons was born in Tennessee in 1860. Funeral services will be held, Friday afternooon, March 06 at 2:30 pm at the Second Baptist Church. Interment will be in Prairie Grove cemetery.
