Carter, David W

David W. Carter, 33, died Sept 11, 2001, after he was injured in an automobile accident. Services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001 in the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls with the Rev. John Veazey officiating. Burial followed in Hillside Cemetery.

He was born on June 10. 1968 in Emporia to Robert J and Joanne Sansom Carter.
He was a graduate of Chase County High School. He graduated cum laude from Emporia State University with a bachelor's degree in computer science and math. He owned and operated the David Carter Computer Equipment and Peripheral Services in Emporia.

He is survived by his parents of rural Emporia; a sister, Lorraine Klumpe of Olpe; and a grandmother, Elnora Sansom of Superior, Neb.

Memorials to the Corner House Inc. of Emporia can be sent to the funeral home.
