Chabin, daughter
The little fourteen-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chabin of Garden City, Kansas, died at the home of Mrs. Chabin’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Maloney, in Strong City, last Friday morning.
Mrs. Chabin had been visiting her parents, when the baby took sick with the measles. Pneumonia later set in and after several weeks of illness death resulted. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon, Father Verdan conducting the services after which interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery at Strong City.
Mr. and Mrs. Chabin are known by almost every one in Strong City. Mr. Chabin was editor of the Strong City Derrick eight or ten years ago. He later moved to Garden City and is now manager of a newspaper of that city.
The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all in the loss of their little one.
