Chesney, Mrs. W. E.
Mrs. W. E. Chesney Dead.
Word was recieved here Sunday of the death of Mrs. W. E. Chesney, sister of the late Cal Evans at her home in Lacompton, April 6th.
Mrs. Chesney was born in March 1837, near Mt. Morris, Pa. The family came to Chase County in
1883 and located on South Fork near Bazaar, where they lived about twenty-five years. From here they moved to Lacompton.
The deceased leaves a husband, two sons, Ed, of Natoma, and Frank, of Ft. Scott, and two daughters, who live at home. The girls were here to attend the funeral of Mr. Evans. J. F. Evans returned Wednesday afternoon from attending the funeral.
