Christensen, Dale L Dale L. Christensen, 86, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Dale, the son of Louis and Ruby Richardson Christensen, was born May 19, 1919, at Marion. He married Eunice Boyer on Nov. 24, 1962. He was a life long Marion resident. He retired from farming in 1995 and moved into town.
He is survived by his wife of the home; five daughters, Jeanie Blake, Wichita, Mary Oliver, Tulsa, Okla., Cindy Sisson, Council Grove, and Sherie Moody-Mulvenon and Cynthia Barrett both of Marion; one sister, Annie Jean Winkley, Marion; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Christensen and Lynn Christensen.
Funeral services were
Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Marion Christian Church with Reverend Carl Helm officiating. He was cremated. Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to St. Luke Hospital and Living Center and Marion Public Library.
Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion was in charge of arrangements.
