Coverdill, Susan Mrs
Mrs. Susan Coverdill died. At the time of her death she was 78 years of age.
Mrs. Coverdill and daughter, Miss Carrie, went to Indiana in the spring with the intention of spending the winter there. Just a week before her death, she received a paralytic stroke proving fatal.
The funeral was held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday in Cottonwood Falls at the home of her son Judge J W Coverdill. The services were conducted by Rev. J E Bryan. Interment was made in the Prairie Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Coverdill's husband died in 1911. She leaves one daughter, Miss Carrie Coverdill, of Cottonwood Falls, and three sons; T J Coverdill, of Kansas City; C E Coverdill, of Detroit, Mich; and J W Coverdill, of Cottonwood Falls, besides other relatives and friends to mourn her death.
Mrs. Coverdill was a member of the Methodist church and had always lived an upright christian life.
