Cross, Dan L.
Dan L. Cross, 68, died Aug. 15, 2006, at his home in Protection.
Dan, the son of Garrett William and Freddie Marie McLaughlin Cross, was born July 5, 1938.
He graduated from Cedar Point High School in Cedar Point, in 1956.
He married Vivian Bragg on Oct. 7, 1959. He spent most of his life working the livestock industry.
He is survived by is wife three sons, Waco, Mike and Chad; three grandchildren; four brothers, Jim, Marion, Paul and Doran; and one sister, Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Neil and Jerry; and a sister, Mary.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Oct. 5, 2006, at the Cross’s Sun City home, at 2 p.m. Memorials are suggested to South Wind Hospice in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
