Crowe, Waneta E Campbell Former Strong City and Osage City resident, Waneta F. Crowe, 89, died Nov. 22, 2001, at Arlington Court Nursing Home in Columbus, Ohio.
Waneta Campbell was born May 4, 1912, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Homer and Mae Coe Campbell. She graduated from Strong City High School.
On Dec 16 1939, she married Jasper B. Crowe at Topeka. She was a self-employed antique dealer in Wichita. Kechi and Centerville, Ind. Mrs. Crowe was a member of the Church of Good Sherpherd in Columbus.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Mott; two grand-children, Teri Mott of Emporia and James C. Mott of Stow, Ohio; and a great-grandson, Cory Mott.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Wanda Campbell. Graveside services were Monday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Ind. Contributions to the American Diabetes Associaton can be made in lieu of flowers.
