Dale, Geraldine Hamm
Geraldine Dale, 79, died March 15, 2005, at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
Geraldine, the daughter of William and Perle Hamm, was born June 24, 1925, at Strong City.
She attended school in Cottonwood Falls and graduated from the university of Kansas School of Business in 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper. Her last position was financial secretary at First Methodist Church in Wichita.
Geraldine married Ward Dale on Nov. 9, 1958, at Cottonwood Falls. He died in 2001. They lived at Marion. She was a member of the Marion Christian Church and Athena Study Club.
She is survived by two nieces, Judy Wright, Twin Falls, Idaho and Donna
Wyckoff, Dekalb, Ill.; and a nephew, Allan B. Dale, Twin Falls, Idaho.
The funeral service was March 19, 2005, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Carl Helm officiating. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls.
Memorials may be made to the Marion Christian Church.
