Dawson, Vivian E Vivian E. Dawson, 89, died June 17,2002, at her home in El Dorado. Graveside services were June 20,2002, at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado. She was the sister of Whitt Laughridge of Cottonwood Falls. Mrs. Dawson was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, the Eldorado Country Club and several bridge clubs.
She is also survived by two sons Douglas D. Dawson of Emporia and the Randall E. Dawson of Mound City; a daughter Karen Farrell of Colorado Springs; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband Glenn Dawson, Died Dec. 9, 1991. Memorials in her name with Friends of the Library can be sent in care of the Carlson Funeral Home, 200 S. Starr St., El Dorado, Ks 67042.
