DeYoe, Martha Caroline Mushrush
Martha Caroline DeYoe, 74, Camarillo. Calif , formerly of the Clemente-Strong City area, died Monday, Sept 4. 2006, at St. John's Hospital in Oxnard, California. She was cremated and a memorial service was held in Camarillo on Sept. 11, 2006.
Martha "Mart" Caroline Mushrush, the daughter of Thomas and Frances Ohm Mushrush, was born July 28, 1932, in Matfield Green. She married Ivan Wyatt on July 2, 1950.
They later divorced
She married Robert G DeYoe on June 2, 1975 He survives
She worked at the Cottonwood Falls Grade School for many years.
She is also survived by two daughters, Cheryl Leitnaker, Ottawa and
Colette Freeman,
Effingham, Illinois, four step-sons, Rev Jeffrey DeYoe, Palm Coast, Fla , Robert N. DeYoe, Ridley Park, Pa., Peter DeYoe, Wilmington, Del. and Christopher DeYoe, Norwalk. Ohio; two
sisters, Bertella Seacat, Gilbert, Ariz and Mary Ann Davis,. Wichita; a brother Emil Mushruah, Strong City. 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Norman Mushrush.
There will be a local graveside service for friends and family at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls, at 2 p m on Saturday Oct 21.
