Decker, Audrey Brandley Snedegar AUDREY BRANDLEY DECKER
MRS. THEODORE DECKER DIES
Mrs. Theodore Decker, 1010 Mechanic St., a resident of Emporia since 1921, died Sunday evening in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Brown-Bennett Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. They will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas Robson, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church in Cottonwood Falls. Burial will be in the cemetery in Matfield Green.
Mrs. Decker, the former Audry Snedegar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Snedegar, was born Sept. 21st, 1888, in Matfield Green. Her first marriage was to Harry Brandley, who died in 1916, and her second marriage, to Mr. Decker, was in 1921, in Emporia. He died on Sept. 9th, 1960.
Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by her husbands and one brother, Curtis Snedegar, and she is survived by one son, Gorman Brandley, of the home; two brothers, Jess Snedegar, Matfield Green, and Whitney Snedegar, of the Meadows Nursing Home; one sister, Zelma Cox, Tucson, Ariz., and four grandchildren, Michael, Delbert, Linda and Teresa Brandley, all of the home.

THE DECKER FUNERAL
Funeral services for Mrs. Theodore Decker, 1010 Mechanic St., who died Sunday in St. Mary’s Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Brown-Bennett Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls.
They were conducted by the Rev. Thomas Robson, pastor of the United Presbyterian church in Cottonwood Falls. The soloist was Mrs. Rober Long, the accompanist was Mrs. Charles Ireland and the pallbearers were Wayne Rogler, Max Shaw, Harold Talkington, Leo Johnson, Paul Bell and Girdner Crofoot. Burial was in the cemetery in Matfield Green.
Relatives who attended from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Gorman Brandley and children, Linda, Delbert, Teresa and Michael, Emporia; Jess Snedegar and Mrs. Carl Nichols, Matfield Green; Pearl Harsh, El Dorado; and Opal Lewis, Winfield.

MRS. TED DECKER DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Ted Decker, 80, Emporia, who had been a longtime resident of Matfield Green, died Sunday in St. Mary’s Hospital, Emporia, following a month’s illness and during which time she had been hospitalized.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Brown-Bennett Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls, with the Rev. Thomas Robson of the United Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Robert Long sang accompanied by Mrs. Charles Ireland. Casket bearers were Wayne Rogler, Max Shaw, Girdner Crofoot, Paul Bell, Harold Talkington and Leo Johnson. Burial was in the Matfield Green Cemetery.
Mrs. Decker was born September 21, 1888 at Matfield Green, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Snedegar. She was married to Harry Brandley and he died in 1916. In 1921 she married Theodore Decker in Emporia and he preceded her in death on September 9, 1960.
Surviving her are one son, Gorman Brandley, of the home; two brothers, Jess Snedegar, Matfield Green, and Whitney Snedegar, Emporia; one sister, Mrs. Zelma Cox, Tucson, ARiz., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Curtis Snedegar, Cottonwood Falls; four grandchildren, Michael, Delbert, Linda and Teresa Brandley, of the home. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Snedegar.
