Everett, Paul J
Paul J. Everett, 92, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls.
The son of Herman and Margaret Clausen Everett, Paul J. Everett was born Feb. 15, 1916, at Elbing, Kan. He and Ruby Swift were married Feb. 13, 1943, and later divorced.
He was a rancher/farmer in the area for years. He was a Mennonite.
He is survived by a son, Paul Ray Everett of Sparta, Tenn.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and Ruby Everett of Cottonwood Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, June 18, at the Matfield Green Cemetery in Matfield Green with The Rev. Billie Blair of the Matfield Community Church officiating. Messages to the family may be left at www.brown-bennett=alexander.com.
