Mrs. C. M. Fagg Dies Nov. 21, 1974

Area Resident Dies in Hospital

Mrs. C.M. Fagg, of Strong City, who had been a Chase County resident for many years, died Thursday, Nov. 14th, in St. Mary's Hospital, Emporia. She was 81. Nora Salista Fagg was born in Marion county on June 30, 1883, the daughter of James R. and Resetta Jane Reynard. She was married to Charles Melton Fagg on Sept. 3, 1903, in Cottonwood Falls. Mr. Fagg died in 1965. Mrs. Fagg had lived in the Florence, Matfield Green, Strong City and Emporia areas all of her life. She had resided in Strong City since 1966.

Surviving her are six children, Marion and Dorphus Fagg, Emporia; Clifford Fagg, Paola; Mrs. Emrick (Aletha) Har- baugh, Cottonwood Falls; Mrs. Joseph (Beulah) Wagner, Culver City, Calif., and Mrs. Willard (Jessie) Park, Clements, and seven grand- Children

Funeral services were held at l p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16th, in the Christian Church, Florence, with the Rev. Lester Owens officiating. Music was provided by Bennie Holtsclaw with Angie F. Rotz as organist. Pallbearers vere Wayne Park, Trenton Fagg, Robert Tipton, John Pinkston, Carl Pinkston and Billie Park. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cot tonwood Falls. Rotz Funeral Home, Florence, was in charge of arrangements.
