Frisbie, Mildred D

Mildred D. Frisbie, 85, of El Dorado died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at a local nursing home.

Mrs. Frisbie was born Sept. 12, 1918, near Burns, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha Widler. She attended school in Clements and graduated from Clements Highschool in 1936.

She was married to Glen Frisbie in 1938, in Topeka. They had lived in the El Dorado area since 1951 moving from Clements. She was a homemaker.

Surviving family include her husband, Glen, of the home; son, Bob Frisbie of Larned; daughter, Becky Tharp of El Dorado; brothers, Bill Widler of Cedar Point, Lyle Widler of Marion; sisters Myrtle Jackson of El Dorado, Betty Pruitt of Derby, June Starkel of McPherson and Joan Kelsheimer of Cottonwood Falls; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The funeral service was Feb. 7, 2004, at the Kirby Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado. Interment was at Clements Cemetery, Clements. A memorial is established with Everyone Plays At The Summit.
