Chase County Obituaries

Giller, Doreen Loretta Doreen Loretta Giller, moth-
er of Donna Pretzer, 69, of
Dallas, Texas, died Nov. 30,
2002. Her memorial service was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dallas on
Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002. Pastor
Don Little conducted the service.
Doreen Loretta Holland was
born in Baltimore, Md., to
Happ and Mabel Holland and
lived there during her school
years. She graduated from
Western High School. She
married Don Giller on Aug. 16,,
1952. She was a homemaker,
until 1972. During that time
they had two children. Donald
Joseph and Donna Lynn.
During her time as a homemaker and due to Don's sales
job, the family lived several
places in California, Texas and
in Albuquerque, N.M. Don
died on Dec. 25, 1994.
Doreen worked as a secretary for DISD and at Sydics Research Corp. for 20 years.
She was a faithful member
of Holy Cross Lutheran
Church for nearly 40 years.
She enjoyed gardening. But
what she enjoyed most was
spending time with her three
grandchildren, Danielle Giller,
who lives in Lago Vista, Texas.
