Gormley, Freda Roberta

Freda Roberta Gormley, 80, a resident of the Holiday Resort in Emporia, died Dec. 27, 2002, at the center. Mrs. Gormley was a director of the Southridge Manor Nursing Home in Louisburg from 1974 to 1982.

Freda Roberta Richardson, the daughter of Fred and Nellie Richardson, was born Feb. 4, 1922, at Saffordville.

She married William Gormley in 1967. He died earlier. Mrs. Gormley is survived by three sons, Gary Carter of Emporia, John Goben of Louisburg and Douglas Goben of Hillsboro, Mo.; one sister, Madelene Redding; two broth ers, Jack Richardson and Robert Richardson, all of Emporia; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Jan. 2, 2003 in the Runyan-Dickey Funeral Home at Louisburg. Burial was in Louisburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Louisburg Senior Center can be sent to the funeral home, P.O. Box 669, Louisburg KS 66053.
