Graham, Dustin

Dustin Graham, 23, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Newman Regional Health.

The son of Gale Lee and Sandra Jean Rathke Graham, he was born July 12, 1982, at Emporia. He worked for a time at Hetlinger Developmental Center and for veterinarian Dr. Floyd Dorsey.

Mr. Graham was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. He also was a member of the Special Olympics and took part in Alexander's Kids Workshop at the Strong City Middle School.

He is survived by his parents of Strong City; two sisters, Laurele Karlena Graham of the home and Theresa Marie Whitaker of Lebo; three brothers, Gregory "Greg" Glenn Shannon Graham and Leonhard "Lennie" Karl Francis Graham, both of Strong City and Richard Larry Graham of Council Grove; and his grandmother, Hattie Rathke of Americus.

The funeral was Monday, April 10, in Messiah Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norbert Tegtmeier conducted the service. Burial was in Strong City Cemetery at Strong City. Memorial contributions to the Messiah Lutheran, Church or Emporia Friends of the Zoo may be sent to the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
