Grover, Donald F

Donald F. Grover, 78, of Wilsey, died Oct. 21, 2002, at the Council Grove Healthcare Center. Mr. Grover was a mechanic and also worked with his wife, Elnora, at the Grover Rest Home, south of Wilsey, for 20 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Wilsey Christian Church.

Donald F Grover, the son of Charles and Malvina Baxter Grover, was born Sept 13, 1924, in Canton, Mass. He married Elnora Maxine Childs on March 29, 1971, in Miami, Okla.

Mr. Grover was a member of the Wilsey Christian Church. He is survived by a son Donald Grover Jr. of Topeka; a daughter, Jean Falk of Herington; two stepchildren, Jamie Davies of Council Grove and Frances Davies of Wilsey; two sisters, Elaine Kohler of Stoughton, Mass., and Marjorie Wolffe of Brockton, Mass.; three brothers, Robert Grover of Wilsey, Francis Grover and Kenneth Grover, both of Brockton, Mass.; two grandsons; two stepgrandchildren; and many great-grand- children.

A stepdaughter, Cynthia Robison, and a grandson, James Rohloff, died earlier. The private memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Wilsey Cemetery. Memorial Chapel of the Flint Hills in Council Grove has the arrangements. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.funeralchoice.com.
