Harbaugh, Mildred

Mildred Harbaugh, 86, died at the home of her daughter in Bart, Pa. Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home. Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Feb. 24 and Feb. 25, 2005 and at 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.

Harbaugh, Mildred L

Mildred L. Harbaugh, 86, formerly of Cottonwood Falls, died Friday, Feb.18, 2005, at the home of her daughter where she had lived for the past four years.

Mildred Leta Miller, the daughter of Frank, Kimberlin and Margaret Mabel Mejilton Miller, was born Sept. 11, 1918, at Strong City. She married James Harbaugh, Dec. 10, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a homemaker and worked as a care giver at the Chase County Nursing Home in Cottonwood Falls for many years. She was a member of the Cottonwood Falls United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Harbaugh of Collingdale, Pa. and Frank Harbaugh of Emporia; a daughter, Deloris Swisher of Bart, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Glen Miller, Ellis Miller, Ray W. Miller and John Samuel Miller; nine sisters, Gladys Miller, Mabel Harrison, Ruth Cobb, Bessie Wortz, Essie Miller, Lucy Elder, Ruby Bafford, Rena Bell Downing and Viola Hunt; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

The funeral service was Feb. 26, 2005, . the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Chapel in Cottonwood Falls with The Rev. David Belisle officiating. Intermant followed at the Strong City Cemetery.
