Hedstrom, Carl F

Carl F. Hedstrom, 93, a longtime resident of Burdick died Oct. 11, 2001, at the Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

Survivors in this area include, a son, Brad Hedstrom of Emporia. Mr Hedstrom, a farmer, had received the Marion County Soil Conservation Award. He was a member of the Diamond Valley High School board and a 4-H leader.

The funeral was Saturday in the Hebron Lutheran Church at Burdick. Burial was in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the church can be sent to the Donahue Funeral Home, 404 S. Broadway, Herington, Ks.67499-3038.
