Henault, Daniel James Daniel James Henault, infant son of Edward and Jennie Rogers Henault of Eudora, was born and died May 25, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. May 30, 2002, in the Matfield Green Cemetery in Matfield Green with Bishop David Adams of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Emporia officiating. Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls are in charge of arrangements. Heskett, Amos. Amos Heskett of Hymer died suddenly, Thursday afternoon, January 6, 1927, from heart trouble. Mr. Heskett had been in poor health for several months. He had consulted several specialists but was unable to find relief. He was setting in a chair when stricken the last time and because of his heart was unable to lay down. He died sitting in the chair with his head leaning against his wife, her arms around him. Mr. Heskett had lived a clean and upright life and was one of Chase County's most respected citizens.
The Funeral services were held at the home, Sunday afternoon in the presence of a large crowd of friends, neighbors, and relatives. The Reverend Henry of
Wilsey read the last sad rites. There were many lovely flowers sent as a tribute to the past friendship for the departed. A special choir sang three songs during the service. The remains were laid to rest in the Elk cemetery near the graves of his mother and his grandparents.
Clarence Amos Heskett was the third son of Mr and Mrs. Seldon Heskett and was born at Hymer, August 4, 1878, and passed away January 6, 1927, age 48 years, 6 months, and 26 days. He was married to Miss Della Brooks, September 06, 1905. To them were born two sons, Earl and Charles. He united with the Christian church at Hymer, August 23, 1925. From this time he lived a consistent Christian life, and was cheerful and patient during his last illness.
He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Della Brooks Heskett, his sons, Earl age 20, and Charles age 14, also four brothers, two half brothers, two sisters, and one half sister.

Besides his parents he is survived by his maternal grandparents. Kenneth and Barbara Rogers of Matfield Green, and James Henault and Ray and Sherri Starr of Topeka.
