ImMasche, Julia

Julia Ella ImMasche, 98, of Emporia, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, at the Holiday Resort.

Julia Ella ImMasche, the daughter of Charles and Ora Dell ImMasche, was born Aug. 29, 1905, in Saffordville. She graduated from Toledo Township High School in 1925.

Miss ImMasche, a member of the Saffordville United Methodist Church since 1924, was the church organist for more than 31 years. She was a member and past matron, serving in 1937, of Chapter 37 of the Order of the Eastern Star and past district aide in the Kansas Order of the Eastern Star, serving in 1940.

She is survived by a foster sister, Virginia Chapman Lewis of Fullerton, Calif.

Miss ImMasche was buried in Hillside Cemetery in Toledo Township.

Memorial contributions to the Saffordville United Methodist Church may be sent in care of the Roberts- Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
