Jackson, Flossie Adams

Flossie Jackson, 104, died Jan. 25, 2005, at Marion. Flossie, the daughter of Thomas and Lillie Adams, was born Dec. 18, 1900, at rural Emporia.

She was a teacher and homemaker. She was married to Ralph Jackson. She was a member of the Florence United Methodist Church.

Survivors are a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Jackson, Cedar Point; a sister Ethel Maddern. Fairbury, Neb.; two grand-children; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Larry Jackson; and a sister, Edna.

The funeral service will be Thursday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. at the Florence United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Lespagnard officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Point Cemetery, Cedar Point.

Memorials are suggested to the Florence Library or Florence United Methodist Church.
