Keener, Betty Louise Meade
Betty Louise Keener, 69, of Augusta died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007.
The daughter of Sidney and Nellie Goll Meade, she was born May 30, 1938, at Cottonwood Falls.
She married Joe E. Keener on Nov. 6, 1964, at Cottonwood Falls. He survives. She was a homemaker.
She is also survived by one daughter, Debbie Webster of Leon; one sister, Jeannie White of Cottonwood Falls; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Keener; and one brother, Sidney Meade.
The funeral was Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta. She was buried in Prairie Grove Cemetery at Cottonwood Falls.
Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation may be sent in care of the funeral home, 201 E. Fifth St., Augusta, KS 67010.
