Kristy, Lois June Rees

Lois June Kristy, 73, of Hutchinson, died Jan. 30, 2002 at Holiday Resort in Emporia

Lois June Rees, the daughter of Thomas V and Lola May Satchell Rees was born June 8, 1928 in Emporia She married Edward Kristy in Los Angeles, Calif. He died earlier. She lived in California for 35 years before moving back to Kansas in 1992.

She is survived by a sister, Shirley Kusmaul of Reading, a brother, Kenneth Rees of Topeka; two nieces and four nephews. Cremation is planned with a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are with Charter Funerals, Emporia chapel.
