Laney, Marion E Kimberlin

Marion E. Laney Marion E. Laney, 86, of Cottonwood Falls died May 22, 2003, at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood Falls. She was a homemaker.

Born Aug. 14, 1916, in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Markis O. and Lillian S. Spain Kimberlin. She married Ira O. Laney in 1933 in El Dorado; he died in 1966.

She is survived by four sons, Leonard Laney of Osage City, Ira Gene Laney of Cottonwood Falls, Larry L. Laney, whose address is unavailable and Terry L. Laney of Las Animas, Color; three brothers, George Kimberlin of Alabama, Bill Kimberlin of Eureka and Loy Kimberlin of El Dorado; two sisters, Estella Martindale and Marjorie George of Strong City; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Two sisters and a broth- er preceded her in death. The inurnment service in Chelsea Cemetery was private. Memorials in her name to the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center can be sent in care of Croy Funeral Home, 27 Maple St., Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
