Linsea, Myrtle Izora Fetter

Myrtle Linsea died at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center on Nov. 27 2001. Services are pending at Brown-Bennett Alexander Funeral Home.

The funeral of Myrtle Izora Linsea, 92, of Cottonwood Falls, was Nov. 29, 2001, in the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home at Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. James Patterson conducted the service. Burial was in Miller Cemetery at Miller.

Mrs. Linsea died Nov. 27, 2001, at the Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood Falls. She was a homemaker. Myrtle Izora Fetter, the daughter of George and Rose Pehlfrey Fetter, was born Feb. 1, 1909, at Chanute. She married William Shepard. He died earlier. She married Dean Moore. They were divorced. She married Alfred Linsea on April 14, 1942, at Emporia. He died earlier. Mrs. Linsea was a member of the Cottonwood Falls United Methodist Chrch.

She is survived by three sons, Eugene Linsea of Emporia, Jerry Linsea of Cottonwood Falls, and William Shepard of Strong City; two daughters, Nancy Peak of Hutchinson and Mary Anderson of Lancaster, Calif.; one sister, Mary Williams of Cottonwood Falls; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a daughter, Louise Hagen; a sister, Ella Edwards; and three brothers George Fetter, Ray Fetter and James Fetter died earlier.
