Chase County Obituaries 1863 - 2005

Madden, John

Court adjourned on Tuedsay morning in consequence of the dying condition of Judge Madden's father, until next Friday.

The old gentleman died at noon. He was 83 years old. Mr. Madden was one of the first settlers in the Cottonwood Valley.

The funeral services were held in the Catholic church at Strong City, yesterday afternoon.
