Mrs. Ed Maloney Dead

The family of Ed Maloney of Skiddy, Kansas, who formerly lived in Strong City, has been hard hit by the influenza and pneumonia.

A week ago the family came to Strong City for a brief visit with relatives and friends where both Mr. and Mrs. Maloney and their two children came down with the influenza, pneumonia setting in later.

As a result, Mrs. Maloney died at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning and the condition of Mr. Maloney and the children is still very serious.
