Maloney, Elizabeth Failey

Elizabeth Failey Maloney was born in Fairfield Vermont, December 23rd, 1862, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Teat, To- peka, Kansas, Dec. 1st, 1927, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, 8 days.

At the age of 21 she was married to Jas. J. Maloney in Fairfield, Vt. To this union nine children were born- seven girls and two boys. She came to Kansas in 1888, and moved to Strong City, in 1895, and has lived there continously for 32 years.

She leaves to mourn her death, her nine children, Mrs. E. J. Kraft Wichita, Misses Frankie and Laura Maloney, Strong City, Mrs. W. J. Teat, Topeka, Miss Elizabeth Ma- loney, Topeka. Mrs. V. L. Stocker, Severy, Kansas, Mrs. T. J. Davis, Newton, Kansas, E. S. Maloney, Strong City, Joseph Maloney of Strong City, and five grandchildren.

She was a good Catholic, a faithful wife, loving and devoted mother and kind grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her for her many acts of kindness. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's church, Sunday, Dec. 4th, at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Father Disselkamp officiating. Interment was at the Catholic cemetery.

Teat, Topeka, Miss Elizabeth Maloney, Topeka, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Stocker and family, Severy, Mr. T. J. Davis, Newton, Mr. and Mrs. James ; Farley, Kansas City, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Maloney and family, Newton, Mrs. Nellie Butler and daughter, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. R. E. Maloney, Newton, Kansas, also several members. of the G. I. A, of Emporia.
