Martin, Larry Wayne Larry Wayne Martin, 54, of Fruitland, N.M., formerly of Wellington, died April 17, 2003, at his home in Fruitland.
Larry was born May 09, 1948, in Strong City, the son of Walter and Joan Martin. Larry graduated from Wellington High School in 1966. Larry enlisted in the Army and served with the paratroopers during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his mother; a daughter, Aurora Cain of Springfield, Va.; and borther, Lloyd Martin of San Jose, California. He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services were April 23, 2003, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. The Reverend Quentin Bennett officiated. A memorial has been established with the Avenue of Flags, P O Box 339, Wellington, Ks 67152. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Day Funeral Home Website at www.dayfuneralhome.info.
